Gary Community School Corporation is seeking an experienced administrator to support the principal in leading curriculum and instruction at the assigned school, and to supervise staff and student attendance and discipline.
The role emphasizes building community relationships, reporting to federal and state agencies, and maintaining professional standards in a secondary school setting.
To assist the principal in providing school wide leadership and to learn the role of the principal. Assists in the development and coordination of curriculum and instruction for the assigned school; supervises the attendance and discipline of students; prepares reports and materials to comply with federal, state, and local agencies.

A Masters Degree in education, educational administration or a related area from an accredited college or university. A minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience. Demonstrated supervisory (administrative) experience in a secondary school preferred. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
Possession of or ability to obtain an Indiana Secondary Administrative Supervisory License.
