Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years of educational leadership experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with NY Charter School Standards.
• Datawise familiarity and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional leadership to promote high-quality teaching and learning.
• Oversee daily school operations, safety, scheduling and facilities.
• Set clear expectations for students, staff and families; act in principal’s absence.
• Engage with students, staff and families; promote ICS values.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support student achievement and well-being.
