Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is hiring a Machine Operator (Assistant Printing Press Operator) in Owensville, MO. This night-shift role (3pm–3am) offers a $1.25 shift premium and a pay range of $23.00–$30.25 per hour, depending on experience.

You’ll join a 12-hour crew with a variable weekly schedule and 36–48 hours per week. Benefits include safety shoe reimbursement, quarterly attendance bonuses, production bonuses, quality incentives, and vacation from day one—up to 80 hours in the first year.

Machine Operator (Assistant Printing Press Operator)

Pay: $23.00-$30.25/hour with $1.25/hour shift premium for night shift, based upon experience

Shift: 12 Hour Crew 3pm - 3am (36 hours one week and 48 hours the next) Only work ½ the days in a year

How you will make an impact:

This role is an important part of the printing process, assisting your press team by creating paper signatures that become book pages.

Job Responsibilities:

• Make-ready, run and maintain an offset printing press
