Job summary

Acelero Learning, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Preschool Teacher to support a Head Start classroom for 3-5 year-olds in Racine, WI.

You will partner with the Preschool Teacher to implement a child-centered curriculum and monitor progress, while fostering positive social and learning outcomes. Required qualifications include CDA credentials or enrollment to complete within two years, or an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Desire to work with children aged 3–5.
• Willingness to enroll in CDA or higher degree within specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a child-centered curriculum and learning environment to promote development in all domains for 3–5 year-olds.
• Observe and address challenging behaviors, partnering with families.
• Document progress using observations and notes to individualize instruction.
