Acelero Learning in Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Preschool Teacher to support a Head Start classroom for 3-5 year-olds. You will collaborate with the Preschool Teacher to maintain a child-centered curriculum and a safe, engaging learning environment.

The role emphasizes observing and documenting progress, supporting positive behaviors, and partnering with families. CDA credentials or pursuing them, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree, or currently enrolled, are eligible.

Qualifications

• Great communication and written skills required.
• Passion to work with children.
• CDA credentials, or willingness to enroll to complete within two years, or an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in any field, or enrolled to obtain such a degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a child-centered curriculum and learning environment.
• Address challenging behaviors by observing causes, applying preventive measures, and partnering with families.
• Use observations and anecdotal notes to document progress and individualize curriculum.
