CONSTANT EDUCATION INC is seeking an experienced and energetic part-time Assistant Preschool Teacher to support the lead teacher in a Montessori-inspired classroom for children aged 2–5. You will help with meals, diapering, transitions, and daily routines while fostering independence and social-emotional growth.

The role requires teamwork, clear communication with families, and a nurturing, patient approach.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 ECE units and pursuing up to 9 more.
• Experience working with preschoolers in a childcare or preschool setting.
• Understanding of child development and positive guidance techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and energetic part time Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for supporting the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children ages 2 -5 years old. You will assist with daily routines such as meals, diapering, and transitions while encouraging independence and self-help skills. You will observe children’s development and support their social-emotional growth through positive guidance and modeling appropriate behavior. You will help prepare and maintain the classroom, ensuring materials are clean, organized, and aligned with Montessori principles. You will communicate effectively with the lead teacher and families to support each child’s individual needs and contribute to a positive classroom community. The hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 am-1:00 pm.
