The Growing Years in Charlotte is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support Preschool classrooms. The role requires a high school diploma or ECE credentials, with 6 credits in ECE courses or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• Completion of early childhood education credentials or 6 credits in ECE courses or equivalent.
• Ability to pass all background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with classroom activities and goals.
• Support children's emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction and feedback to improve program quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all children.
• Establish positive rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs. as needed.
