YMCA of Central Massachusetts seeks a Preschool Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in delivering daily curriculum that promotes social, cultural, educational, physical and emotional growth.
Responsibilities include greeting families, assisting with lessons, supervising activities, recording observations, and maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom environment in line with YMCA values.
Under the supervision of the Lead Child Care Teacher, the Preschool Assistant Teacher assists the classroom teacher in setting up and implementing daily curriculum which promotes social, cultural, educational, physical and emotional growth. Additionally, the Assistant Teacher performs housekeeping chores as necessary and provides a quality experience to children that focuses on the YMCA values.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
Job Type: Full-Time (Non-Exempt)
