Job summary

Hire Up Recruiting client preschool in Dublin, OH is seeking an energetic Assistant Director to lead operations and ensure top-quality early childhood education. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with licensed preschool experience and a passion for building community relations.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, year-round, with a salary of $18.00–$19.00 per hour, plus benefits including health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO and professional development support.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED Minimum Education: CDA Certification
• REQUIRED Teaching Experience: At least 2-years of Early Childhood Education (birth to 5-years-old) teaching experience
• PREFERRED Leadership Experience: At least 1-year of Early Childhood Education (birth to 5-years-old) management experience
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs
• Must meet background check eligibility

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to the Director, grow enrollment, attract and retain teachers, and build strong community relations.
• Ensure compliance with state safety, fire, quality programming, educational and staffing regulations
• Ensure center meets state licensing and safety standards while incorporating all core values
• Motivate, coach and train teachers to deliver creative programs, service excellence and core values.
• Deeply connect with students, colleagues and parents to vigorously uphold a culture of welcome, safety and respect.
• Invoke a robust learning atmosphere that leads students to deeply value being at school and feel part of a rigorous and joyful learning community.
• Assist in the classrooms as needed
