Job summary

Geoquest USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Precast Plant Logistics Manager in Waco, TX. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing inbound and outbound logistics for precast operations, aligning production with delivery schedules.

Responsibilities include dispatch, route optimization, yard management, and cost-conscious logistics. Strong organizational skills, decision-making, and ERP proficiency are essential for on-time, compliant deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• High School diploma minimum.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or precast/construction operations.
• Strong coordination and communication across departments.
• Familiarity with ERP, dispatch software, and tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily, weekly, and long-term delivery schedules with Production, Project Management, and Customers.
• Plan and optimize truck routes, load sequencing, and delivery timing.
• Ensure efficient utilization of fleet and third-party carriers.
• Coordinate shipment priorities based on project schedules and site conditions.
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and logistics performance.
• Oversee dispatchers, yard supervisors, drivers, and logistics personnel.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and site requirements.
