Connectly Recruiting is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a large multiyear highway program in Central Florida. This full-time, onsite position supports the project manager with cost control, scheduling, subcontracts, and documentation across major state highway work.

You will coordinate field crews, materials, and equipment, manage submittals and RFIs, and help maintain safety and quality on site. Relocation to Lakeland area is welcome.

Qualificações

• 3+ years on heavy civil highway or bridge projects as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer or APM.
• Four year degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or Civil Engineering.
• FDOT or Turnpike experience is a plus.
• Clear writer and communicator under schedule pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Support the project manager on cost, schedule and resource planning.
• Administer subcontracts and purchase orders, and coordinate subs and suppliers.
• Manage submittals, RFIs and change order paperwork with the owner.
• Track quantities, pay items and monthly pay estimates.
• Coordinate crews, material and equipment with the superintendents.
• Keep permits, licenses and project documentation current.
• Help update the schedule and the cost forecast.
• Back the field on safety and quality.
• Report progress to the project manager and the owner.
