Foremost Farms USA is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to develop a culture of safety while overseeing daily manufacturing operations on-site. The role focuses on building a pipeline of future leaders and driving engagement, quality, and efficiency across plant functions.

Initial responsibilities include collaboration with HR, Finance, Quality, and CI to implement local and company-wide initiatives, with a pathway toward Plant Manager succession.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 4 years of progressive leadership experience in a food manufacturing facility
• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Experience managing labor unions (preferred)
• Prior dairy experience (preferred)
• LEAN manufacturing (preferred)
• 6+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day manufacturing operation.
• Lead Daily Direction Setting and SCORE process for safety, quality, service, schedules, and cost.
• Champion safety with root cause analysis and improvement activities.
• Develop Production Managers and Supervisors for a stable leadership team.
• Actively lead employee engagement and onboarding, training, and retention.
• Align manufacturing activities to supply chain requirements and drive improvements.
