Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to support a multi-site operation in the manufacturing sector. The role focuses on production performance, safety, quality, scrap reduction, and supervisor development, serving as the Plant Manager's designee when needed.

You will lead day-to-day plant activities across sites, drive OEE improvements, coach frontline leaders, manage attendance and progressive discipline, and collaborate with union personnel while aligning with EH&S and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for the role.
• 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience, including salary direct reports.
• 5-10 years of plastics manufacturing experience (desired).
• 5-10 years in welding/fabrication environments (desired).
• Union leadership experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage operations across a multi-site campus with focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Lead daily production meetings, escalation processes and action follow-up.
• Drive OEE improvement initiatives and remove barriers to throughput.
• Develop supervisors and team leaders through coaching and mentoring.
• Support union relations, attendance management and progressive discipline.
• Lead root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods.
