Job summary

You will lead frontline supervisors and hourly staff, monitor metrics, drive waste reduction, support scheduling and labor planning, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Plant Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating overall plant operations to achieve production and quality targets.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate frontline supervisors and hourly personnel to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor and analyze production metrics, identifying opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Support inventory control, scheduling, labor management, and capacity planning efforts.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, downtime, and costs.
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance management of plant employees.
• Serve as acting Plant Manager during absences or as assigned.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence across shifts.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, logistics, and other departments to resolve issues and streamline operations.
