Publix Pharmacy in Florida seeks an Assistant Pharmacy Manager to lead a patient-focused team and drive clinical services such as MTM and immunizations. You will mentor staff, optimize inventory, and collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure excellent patient care in a busy community setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be a graduate of a school of pharmacy.
• Must have and maintain an unrestricted state pharmacist license.
• Must not have active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a private, federal, or state health insurance program upon hire and thereafter.
• Must not have received an unacceptable result on a company-sponsored drug test within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Be dedicated to the overall pharmacy department success, by executing strategy, motivating and inspiring staff as the pharmacist-on-duty.
• Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients, counsel and build relationships to promote loyalty and health.
• Mentor, train and develop a high functioning pharmacy team.
• Inspire the team and manage department performance including scheduling and task assignment.
• Understand metrics related to sales and service and support decision-making when Pharmacist-in-charge is absent.
• Be regarded as an expert on the pharmacy technology system and routine and complex prescription processing.
• Excel in managing medication on-hand inventory and maximize sales while minimizing shrink.
• Advance clinical initiatives including MTM and immunizations.
• Participate in local community health events and screenings.
• Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet customer needs and assist in other duties as assigned.
