Ed Morse Automotive Group is currently looking for an Assistant Parts Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Parts Manager with daily operations, including inventory management, ordering, and stock control
• Support the team in identifying and sourcing parts for both internal technicians and external customers
• Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of parts orders
• Help manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring cost-effective and timely parts supply
• Assist in training and mentoring parts department staff, fostering a positive and customer-focused work environment
• Monitor performance metrics, assist in implementing strategies to achieve sales goals, and help manage department costs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and manufacturer standards

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in an automotive parts department, with leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of parts management, inventory control, and ordering processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a customer-first approach
• Familiarity with parts management software and dealership systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.)
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and assist in leading others
