Job summary

Audi Melbourne in West Melbourne, FL, is seeking an Assistant Parts Manager to support our fast-paced parts department. You will help ensure timely availability and distribution of parts to customers and service teams, and you will work closely with the Parts Manager to maintain inventory accuracy.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication. You’ll oversee inventory, coordinate with vendors, and help manage budgets while delivering best-in-class

Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive parts management preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient with inventory software and MS Office.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; business or automotive technology a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the parts department.
  • Oversee inventory control and ordering of automotive parts to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery and best pricing.
  • Support the Parts Manager in monitoring sales and departmental budgets.
  • Train and supervise parts department staff, fostering a customer-focused team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to parts availability and orders.
  • Maintain inventory appearance and vehicle-related responsibilities as directed.
  • Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
  • Keep lots neat and orderly and move cars as directed by the general manager.
  • Drive vehicles to service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
  • Make key tags for and handle inventory of vehicles.
  • Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Able to work flexible schedules and some weekends
  • Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
