The Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, Bureau of Parks and Lands Division, is seeking to fill a Full Time Seasonal (26 Weeks) Assistant Park Ranger position at Popham Beach State Park.

Job Description

This role involves maintenance and personal services to assist park visitors at a state park or day use area. Responsibilities may include supervising a small crew of maintenance and operations staff. Work is performed under general supervision.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to follow directions
Licensing/Registration/Training

Must possess a valid Class C Maine motor vehicle operator’s license.

Additional Information
  • Applicants must be 18 or older (Lifeguards must be 16+)
  • U.S. Citizens or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Housing provided in certain areas; generally not available elsewhere.
  • Most positions require 40 hours/week, including weekends and some holidays.
  • Uniforms are provided.
