Hydro Extrusions in Gainesville, GA is seeking a painter role candidate for the 12-hour shift. This on-site position involves staging, mixing, and applying paint, with responsibilities including line maintenance, safety checks, and basic forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of paint processes.
• Mobile Equipment Certification required (or the ability to attain this certification through Hydro training).
• Must have ability and willingness to move into Painter role within six months.
• Must be able to pass pulmonary/respiratory testing.
• Must have ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy drums (up to 250 pounds) of paint on a regular basis with a partner.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in manufacturing.
• HSD / GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staging and mixing of paint for application.
• Back-up painter when necessary.
• Route maintenance of paint line equipment.
• Support PM Requirements.
• Completion of check sheets.
• Preparation of paint for application.
• Physical and visual checks on metal entering and exiting paint room.
• Managing hazardous waste according to state and federal regulations.
• Operation of Forklift.
