Outstanding candidates will have expertise applying interdisciplinary methods to the study of health among many different populations. We are particularly interested in candidates whose work aligns with a broad view of MCH, complements implementation science and community-engaged research, and who bring expertise in applying technology-based approaches to improve health outcomes. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an independently funded research program, teach and mentor graduate students at the master's and doctoral levels, provide academic advising, and foster partnerships within the department, across the Gillings School, and with community and global partners. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field, have a strong record of (or clear potential for) high-impact scholarship.
