The LSU School of Architecture seeks applicants for a full-time, nine-month, Assistant or Associate Professor with expertise in advanced architectural design. The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate design studios and lecture/seminar courses in their area of expertise.

The candidate should demonstrate teaching effectiveness, scholarly or creative practice, and collegiality, with a Master of Architecture or equivalent required. Collaboration across LSU is encouraged.

Minimum degree qualification is a Master of Architecture degree, or an equivalent degree in architecture or a closely related field.ContextThe LSU School of Architecture offers two professional, nationally accredited, degrees, the B Arch and M Arch, as well as a graduate research degree in Architecture, MS in Arch. Architecture faculty also participate in interdisciplinary college wide degrees: Doctor of Design in Cultural Preservation and the BA in Art and Design.
