This role will serve as a core faculty member within the entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (ELOTD) program, including teaching courses related to clinical expertise, advising, and engaging in service and scholarship as outlined in the Faculty Manual. The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty to support program accreditation, curriculum development, admissions, student success initiatives, and strategic program growth. This position requires routine on-campus presence, with some opportunities for remote work, and may involve occasional evening/weekend commitments. Academic rank will be filled at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and will be determined based on the successful candidate's qualifications, experience, and record of scholarship.**Duties and Responsibilities:**Prepare, teach, and evaluate occupational therapy coursework in areas of clinical expertise. Mentor doctoral students in capstone projects and other scholarly activities. Provide academic advising and professional mentorship to students. Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Contribute to program evaluation activities and support accreditation and re-accreditation processes. Collaborate with faculty and staff to support implementation of innovative teaching and learning strategies. Engage in admissions, recruitment, retention, and student success initiatives. Engage in scholarly activities consistent with faculty rank and university expectations, including dissemination of research, scholarship of teaching and learning, or other scholarly contributions. Participate in departmental, college, university, and professional service activities. Maintain professional licensure, certification, and continuing competence in areas of expertise. Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
