An earned doctorate in Animal Science or a closely related field. Position Summary This is a nine-month, tenure track appointment (60% Extension, 35% research and 5% service) position with two months of summer salary (11.111% per month) guaranteed in the Department of Animal and Dairy Science ( ADS ) in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at the University of Georgia. The position will be located at the UGA Tifton Campus. Additional Requirements Additional Requirements:
To be considered for the rank of Associate Professor, candidates must have at least 5 years of rank at the Assistant Professor level and show evidence of emerging stature as regional or national authorities per the criteria listed in the Appointment, Promotion & Tenure of Academic Rank Faculty (https://provost.uga.edu/faculty-affairs/promotion-tenure-evaluation/academic-rank/ ) and the discipline-specific criteria for Animal and Dairy Science (https://provost.uga.edu/wp-content/uploads/ptu-criteria-animal-dairy-science.pdf ).
