Cenergy Oil & Gas is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to join our team. Must be a strong communicator to lead your team in providing excellent customer service to our customers to maximize shopper satisfaction. Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Manage all facets of the convenience stores
• Manage all facets of the deli/grab-n-go bar
• Perform Lead/Assistant Lead duties as needed
• Perform daily C-store cashier duties as needed
• Perform daily kitchen duties as needed
• Have open communication with all store Leads and deli Managers for store excellence
• Setup new employees in the register and alarm system
• Assign store keys
• Train or oversee training of new employees
• Manage all store employees
• Communicate and delegate task as needed to store Leads and kitchen Managers
• Work with store Leads/Managers to ensure a shift call out is covered
• Enforce good customer service practices to employees
• Oversee customer service issues and complaints
• Manage and oversee daily functions
• Report all store/equipment repairs
• Responsible for the store orders in absence of store Lead
• Oversee store vendors as needed
• Follow-up on task list for Leads and Cashiers
• Weekly store & kitchen walk-thru following up with Leads/Managers regarding any issues
• Work quarterly inventories at each store
• Work/inspect quarterly kitchen cleanings as needed
• Track daily waste/salvage/etc. to know when there is a problem and how to address it
• Check expiration dates and always use FIFO (first in/first out), practice stock rotation (newer orders go to the back of the storage area, not the front).
• Enforce Kitchen Manger & staff to inspect all deliveries closely to reject any damaged product and reject anything with visible spoilage, follow up with vendor to ensure account is credited accurately
• Communicate with Kitchen Manager to ensure deli order are managed, prepared, and delivered as expectations of pre-order.
• Ensure all food is portioned & priced correctly
• Prepare weekly grocery orders for all locations
• Ensure all kitchens are stocked and ready for food preparation and service.
• Maintain all levels of safety required by ServSafe and the Health Department
• Ensure all employees are adequately trained for the job they are performing
• Adhere to all OSHA compliance guidelines for safety
• Watch at least 2 hours of surveillance video a week
• Any other tasks assigned by management
