Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager for Housekeeping to oversee the housekeeping area including public areas and night cleaning. You will ensure safety, train staff, and schedule activities to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, high energy, and a focus on operational excellence, with opportunities to grow across Hyatt properties and functions.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience.

Summary

The Assistant Operations Manager is responsiblefor assisting in the oversight of the entire housekeeping area, to includepublic areasand night cleaning. This requires a solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars and will assure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed. Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. is helpful. These responsibilities may also include staff training, development and scheduling. The Assistant Operations Manager will promote an atmosphere that insures customer and associate satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager overseeing Housekeepingand requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members.Additionally, this position will gain exposure to other operational areas in an effort to promote growth and cross development of talent with the operational departments.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
