Job Summary

We're looking for someone with 1-2 years of experience in an Operations Management role to join our team. This role involves overseeing the night shift operations in our produce warehouse from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The successful candidate will manage order pickers, shipping and receiving clerks, and warehouse workers, ensuring timely order consolidation and efficient handling of inbound and outbound merchandise. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate with various departments to maintain operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Sales Director, operations manager, and VPO/President to ensure order accuracy and timing
• Oversee third-shift shipping and receiving operations, and verify quality of all outbound merchandise
• Lead and manage order pullers and checkers to maintain efficiency, and ensure deliveries meet company standards
• Ensure outbound merchandise meets quality standards, and enforce all safety and food safety policies
• Resolve customer queries accurately and promptly, maintaining strong relationships and handling change requests
• Review and manage order accuracy, loading, and verification, executing work within set timelines and budget
• Organize training for warehouse personnel

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make out orders clearly and concisely and to follow instructions
• Detailed-oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external customers
• Strong mental math skills
• Capable of occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. and helping a team lift 100 lbs.
