Role Description The Assistant Nursing Home Administrator is a full-time, on-site role located in Warren, AR, supporting the overall operations of a long-term care facility within DHS. This role assists the Nursing Home Administrator with daily oversight of resident care services, staff scheduling and supervision, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Responsibilities include helping manage budgets and resources, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring that residents receive safe, respectful, and person-centered care. The position collaborates with clinical and support staff to address resident needs, resolve concerns, and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and regulatory agencies. The Assistant Nursing Home Administrator also contributes to staff training, policy implementation, and performance monitoring to support a high standard of care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Nursing Home Administration and Long-term Care operations, including familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with Elder Care services, resident advocacy, and person-centered care in a nursing home or similar setting.
• Ability to assist with Budgeting, resource planning, and financial oversight in a healthcare or long-term care environment.
• Experience in Training, coaching, or mentoring staff to maintain high standards of care and professional conduct.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Social Services, Gerontology, Nursing, or a related field; relevant licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, safety standards, and quality improvement practices.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Warren, AR, and adapt to changing resident and facility needs.
