Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Pre-Op and PACU units. You will partner with the nurse manager to ensure efficient patient flow, adherence to policies, and high-quality perioperative care.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, staff development, and collaboration with physicians and care teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. A BSN and MI RN license are required, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) Required.
• Two years of clinical experience, critical care or emergency Required.
• Surgical experience strongly Preferred.
• Participation in leadership activities (Unit, hospital, or system Shared Governance meetings, Precepting, Charge nurse role) Preferred.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required.
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the nurse manager or other nursing leader, the assistant nurse manager has responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department and their effect on patient care in the department.
