HCT Healthcare Transformation seeks an Interim Assistant Nurse Manager for the PCU/Telemetry units in a 300+ bed California hospital. The role entails 24-hour operational oversight, staffing planning, and policy development to ensure high-quality patient care.

A CA RN license, BLS, and Epic EMR experience are required or strongly preferred. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of clinical nursing experience and 2 years in management, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and CA RN license are required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• AHA BLS certification is typically expected for nurse leadership roles.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership and oversight for the 24-hour operation of the PCU/Telemetry units.
• Support quality patient care and an optimal practice environment.
• Oversee staffing, planning, organization, fiscal management, and daily unit operations.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, programs, and standards of care.
• Promote proactive, collaborative relationships across hospital departments and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patients' nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing;Required
• Experience:Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience and 2 years of management experience; Required
• License: Current CA RN license; Required
