Responsibilities

• Assists the Nurse Manager with unit/area operations and staffing needs
• Collaborates with direct care staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Acts as a clinical resource for team members and patients
• Manages and improves admission, transfer and discharge processes
• Leads implementation of changes to improve care delivery
• Coaches and develops staff through feedback and education
• Assigns patient care tasks across shifts to balance workload
• Performs direct patient care when required to ensure service continuity
