Job summary

Sinai Hospital’s 12-room General Operating Room supports diverse surgical programs, and an Assistant Nurse Manager will partner with the Nurse Manager to lead daily operations and drive staff performance.

Join LifeBridge Health to support a high-acuity OR, oversee scheduling, and ensure survey readiness, while advancing a robotics program and trauma-level exposure in a Level II Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• BSN required
• Active Maryland RN license required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience required
• Strong communication, staff development, and operational decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, patient flow, and staffing across the General Operating Room
• Lead, coach, and develop OR nursing staff to strengthen team performance and engagement
• Maintain a continuous state of survey and regulatory readiness
• Drive improvements in patient satisfaction and departmental efficiency
• Support administrative functions on behalf of the Nurse Manager, including scheduling and reporting
• Serve as a clinical and operational resource for the surgical team across all specialty services

Sinai Hospital's 12-room General Operating Room supports one of the region's most diverse surgical programs, from neurosurgery and vascular to thoracic and a growing robotics service line. As Assistant Nurse Manager, you'll partner with the Nurse Manager to lead daily operations, drive staff performance, and keep the department survey-ready for a high-acuity surgical team.

Pay Range: $43.33 to $67.16 Based On Experience
