Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager to support the Nurse Manager in the operation of a VA unit in Texas. The role provides leadership, staff development, and clinical supervision to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure.
• Possession of a state licensure to practice nursing as required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Nurse Manager with supervision of daily operations.
• Provides leadership and supervision to nursing staff.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and evidence-based practice.
• Coordinates orientation, training, and staff development.
• Promotes collaboration across the interdisciplinary team.
