• Coordinates staffing needs and reviews coverage on a daily basis to meet patient care requirements.
• Assists with clinical evaluations of team members and conducts timely performance assessments.
• Participates in hiring and evaluation of potential team members.
• Monitors certifications, licenses and required education for team members.
• Delivers patient care in accordance with physician orders and policy standards.
• Interfaces with patients and families to provide instruction and promote participation in care.
• Plans and ensures compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Designs and evaluates nursing models to improve service quality.
• Communicates effectively with team members and adapts to change.
