Job summary

Novant Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Med Surg unit at Brunswick Medical Center, evenings to nights (6pm-6am) with possible hour flex. This leadership role provides clinical and administrative guidance, supports daily operations, staff, and patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Serves as unit leader and collaborator with interdisciplinary teams. Qualifications include RN license, 2+ years clinical RN experience, BSN preferred, 4-year degree, and required

Qualifications

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN, preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.
• Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
