Job summary

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing seeks an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join a mission-driven FQHC network in New York. You will support the Nurse Manager in clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and a collaborative environment to broaden healthcare access.

The role offers a base salary of $95,000 with potential increases for BSN/MSN, comprehensive benefits, sign-on bonus, and leadership development opportunities in a high-impact setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Active NYS RN license required.
• Infection Control Certificate, BCLS, and Child Abuse Certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience; FQHC/community health experience a plus.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and clinical workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Implements patient care activities with the Nurse Manager and health team.
• Assists in evaluating nursing care quality and suggests improvements.
• Monitors unit supplies, technology, and equipment usage.
• Ensures staff are informed of developments and participates in planning.
• Leads meetings, records minutes, and supports problem solving.
• Coordinates ER referrals and family practice collaboration.
• Reads and implements current nursing policies and standards.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Assumes Nurse Manager duties in their absence, including staffing decisions.
