Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ, seeks an experienced Nurse Manager for the Cath Lab to lead clinical operations and staff in a busy department. The role requires 2 years of recent cath lab experience, broad nursing practice knowledge, and strong leadership and coaching abilities.

You will partner with the Nurse Director, oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, quality metrics, and fiscal stewardship, and support professional growth through performance coaching.

Qualifications

• 2 years recent clinical/cath lab experience required.
• Broad knowledge of nursing practice and ability to apply specific skills in nursing intervention.
• Competency in management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Nurse Director/Manager in overall department leadership.
• Coach and counsel employees to maintain high performance standards, and delegate tasks as appropriate based upon patient need and staff qualifications.
• Maintain day-to-day operations including bed flow, patient rounding, chart checks, and collaboration with other departments; model behaviors to support customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate and promote fiscal responsibility.
• Assist with coordinating inventory, purchasing contracts, billing processes/issues and report generation when appropriate.
• Assist with managing staff levels by implementation and coordination of unit staffing for nursing care.
• Monitor quality metrics and facilitate performance improvement activities by reviewing charts and coaching staff.

Position Responsibilities

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required

2 years recent clinical/cath lab experience required. Broad knowledge of nursing practice and ability to apply specific skills in nursing intervention. Competency in management and leadership skills.

Required Education

Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred in related field.

Training/Certifications/Licensure

Current NJ RN license, BLS. Appropriate certification as required by specialty or regulatory agency.

Annual Salary

$98,700 - $158,398 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
