Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to support the patient care plan and lead the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab nursing team. This role collaborates across disciplines, ensuring seamless care delivery and alignment with our mission and values.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, development, and 24-hour division management in collaboration with leadership. MO RN licensure and 2 years of relevant experience are required; bachelor’s degree in nursing is a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• 2 years RN experience in Cardiac Cath or EP Lab are required.
• Current RN licensure in Missouri is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and communicate patient care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with human resource management activities such as staff scheduling and development.
• Manage division operations on a 24-hour basis; act as Nurse Manager in their absence.
• Promote teamwork and uphold the hospital's mission and values.

Position Summary

The Assistant Nurse Manager assists with, facilitates, and communicates the patient’s plan of care to members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Also assists with human resource management activities, such as staff scheduling, staff development, and performance monitoring. Is accountable for management of the division on a 24-hour basis. Functions as manager in the absence of the Nurse Manager. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Experience: 2 Years of current RN experience in the Cardiac Cath or EP Lab

Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri
