The MICU unit emphasizes collaboration with physicians and care teams, staff development, and cost‑effective operations to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a modern, 17‑bed unit.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Illinois RN license is required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• 3-4 years of nursing experience in Critical Care.
• Experience as a charge nurse (1 year).
• Demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager of Clinical Operations in MICU leadership across all shifts.
• Plan, coordinate and manage personnel and resources to provide high-quality patient care.
• Support ongoing staff education and professional development.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to ensure optimal care.
