Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Our client, a wholesale fashion accessories company, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser to support their Product & Design team in NYC!

Responsibilities

• Communicate with overseas factories to manage sample development, track progress, and obtain cost information
• Update costing spreadsheets to support the sales team
• Prepare customer line sheets and costing documents following sales meetings
• Create and organize product presentation materials (market line PowerPoint decks)
• Organize factory spec sheets and digital photo libraries for jewelry, soft goods, and belt categories
• Work closely with design and production to compile accurate information for purchase orders
• Support showroom merchandising and upkeep to ensure presentation standards are met
• Prepare materials and samples for customer meetings
• Organize and maintain the sample closet and storage areas

Requirements

• Entry-level position; ideal for recent graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of experience in product development or fashion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
