Job summary

United Legwear & Apparel Co. in New York, NY is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to support the Senior Merchandiser in costing, PLM data management, and seasonal line planning across multiple apparel lines.

You will coordinate with design, product development, and production, ensuring accurate product information, pricing, and timelines while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with data entry and data management in PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors and cross‑functional teams to gather and communicate product details and updates.
• Maintain costing data in PLM and develop a costing database with supplier information and pricing.
• Assist in developing seasonal line plans and calendars across multiple apparel lines.
• Monitor costs against historical data and communicate variances and corrective actions.
