A healthcare organization is seeking an Assistant Director of Mental Health to oversee mental health services in correctional facilities. The role requires a Master's degree in psychology or social work and at least five years of management experience. Key responsibilities include managing a team and ensuring quality mental health services for vulnerable populations.

Qualifications

• Masters in clinical or counseling psychology or in social work from an accredited college or university.
• At least five years of progressively responsible management experience providing behavioral health services of similar scope and complexity.
• Designated Qualified Mental Health Professional in accordance with state of employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of psychologists and Qualified Mental Health Professionals.
• Actively participate in required meetings with the ADC.
• Lead case conferences for special needs inmates.
• Provide administrative supervision to psychiatrists and clinical nurse specialists.
• Manage all aspects of mental health services in correctional facilities.
