St. Bonaventure University, a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, is hiring an Assistant Men's and Women's Tennis Coach to aid with the overall management of an NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs.
The Assistant Coach will aid in executing a successful program that would include duties such as: conducting regular team and individual practice sessions; coaching the student athletes, evaluating athletes’ performance in practice and competition; monitoring the conditioning and training of student athletes; Arranges and conducts recruiting functions including off- and on-campus visits, evaluations and contacts of prospective student-athletes;
Ensures that necessary athletic equipment and gear is available and in proper condition for scheduled practices and competition and makes recommendations for repairs or replacement, as necessary, and;
Performs administrative tasks such as maintaining statistics. Attends coaches’ preparatory meetings and implements strategies resulting from these meetings.
Prior coaching at the collegiate level or as a college athlete is required.
AED/First Aid/CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain).
