Job summary

University of Maryland Eastern Shore is seeking an Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach to support a Division I program under the Head Coach. This is a full-time, twelve-month contractual exempt position with limited benefits, reporting directly to the Head Coach and involved in on-court coaching and player development.

The role includes recruiting, scheduling, team organization, supervising student athletes, and monitoring academic progress.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience and abilities: compliance with NCAA/Big Ten and university rules; strong communication, organization and administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in administering phases of a Division I Intercollegiate volleyball program.
• On-court coaching and player development.
• Assist in recruiting as well as scheduling, team organization, and supervising student athletes.
• Monitoring academic progress.
• Ordering equipment.
• Manager oversight.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
