Job summary

Ithaca College is seeking an NCAA Division III coaching staff member to work closely with the Head Coach to develop and coach athletic teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with at least three years of related coaching experience.
• Experience planning and conducting pre-season, in-season, and post-season practices and competitions.
• Experience recruiting athletes and coordinating events and contests.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact respectfully in a diverse environment.
• National certification in strength and conditioning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct in-season and applicable pre-season practices and competitions; develop conditioning programs.
• Design instruction for individual athletes and team needs; teach proper skills and concepts.
• Provide instruction on health and safety and promote athlete wellbeing.
• Analyze opponent performance and suggest strategies for competition.
• Develop inclusive culture and promote diversity within the college community.
