Champlain Valley School District (CVSD) CVU HIGH SCHOOL - Hinesburg, Vermont is seeking a part-time Assistant Media Technician to join our team, supporting the Theater Coordinator and Media Integrationist for after-hours and weekend events at CVU Theater and other spaces.

This position requires lifting up to 40 lbs, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and strong collaboration with students and staff to maintain a safe, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of digital sound and lighting systems, including experience with Crestron smart systems.
• Ability to coordinate logistics and timelines to ensure the successful execution of complex school events.
• Ability to work cooperatively and interact respectfully with students, staff, and outside organizations.
• Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 40 lbs) and the capacity to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must have the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support live performances and events.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate audio‑visual equipment for school performances, assemblies, and events, ensuring seamless transitions and high‑quality presentations.

Assistant Media Technician Needed

Location: Champlain Valley Union High School

Champlain Valley Union High School (CVU) is seeking a part‑time Assistant Media Technician to join our team. This multifaceted role supports the Theater Coordinator and Media Integrationist with after‑hours and weekend events in the CVU Theater and other school event spaces. We are seeking a dedicated individual to ensure a professional, safe, and high‑quality environment for our students and staff.
