Job summary

The Country Club of Buffalo seeks an Assistant Mechanic to support the equipment team. This part-time role (20-30 hours per week) focuses on preventative maintenance and repair of golf carts and turf equipment.

Training is provided, with no prior turf industry experience required. You will work closely with the equipment manager to keep our fleet performing at peak efficiency and ensure reliable service for our members.

Position: Assistant Mechanic

Pay Range: $26-29/hour

The Country Club of Buffalo is seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined individual with a strong work ethic to join our team. The assistant mechanic is a part-time position (20-30 hours per week). The assistant mechanic position involves assisting the equipment manager in all facets of equipment maintenance and repair. Assistant mechanic primary duties will include preventative equipment maintenance and cutting unit maintenance. This position is available immediately. While previous experience in the turf industry is a plus, it is not required—we will provide comprehensive training.

Assistant Mechanic Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on golf carts and similar equipment.
• Diagnose and repair small engines and equipment such as leaf blowers, string trimmers, and other related tools.
• Assist with mower repair and maintenance as needed.
• Perform adjustments and repairs on cutting units and other turf-related machinery.
