Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment is seeking a part-time Assistant Mechanic to support maintenance of bowling lanes, pinspotters, and related equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to repairs, and help ensure all gear operates safely and reliably.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training opportunities to advance to a mechanic position, and a fun entertainment-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with strong math background (optional).
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Willing to continue training to become a mechanic.
• Previous mechanical, electrical, or engineering experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lanes, pinspotters/pinsetters, and building equipment for top performance.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and respond to repairs promptly.
• Follow safety guidelines and OSHA requirements.
• Participate in preventative maintenance programs and daily center upkeep.
• Support leadership and report issues promptly.
• Identify and resolve common equipment issues, perform minor preventative maintenance.
• Understand operation of all bowling equipment in the center.

WHAT OUR ASSISTANT MECHANICS DO

Our Assistant Mechanics are essential to maintaining the top performance of our lanes, pinspotters/pinsetters, and building equipment. They skillfully conduct preventative maintenance and respond promptly to any necessary repairs.

AN ASSISTANT MECHANIC’S DAY-TO-DAY:

• Always prioritize safety by following the guidelines set by Lucky Strike Entertainment and OSHA.
• Take pride in maintaining the equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Adhere to all outlined preventative maintenance programs and monitor and perform daily center maintenance as instructed
• Embrace the opportunity to complete the Lucky Strike Entertainment Assistant Mechanic training program within the prescribed time frame.
• Providing valuable assistance to the leadership teams and promptly reporting any issues and problems as needed.
• Proficient in accurately identifying and resolving the most common issues with equipment.
• Minor preventative maintenance
• Fully understand how to operate all bowling equipment in the center

WHAT IT TAKES

• High School Diploma with a strong emphasis on algebra, geometry, and applied mathematics (Optional)
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven team player
• Eager to continue training to advance into a Mechanic role.
• Candidates with previous mechanical, electrical, or engineering experience are encouraged to apply
