Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment is seeking an Assistant Mechanic to help maintain bowling lanes, pinspotters, and building equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to repairs, and support leadership with daily center operations.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and opportunities to train toward a full Mechanic role. A high school diploma and good communication skills are preferred; prior mechanical/electrical experience is a plus.

• High School Diploma with emphasis on algebra, geometry, and applied mathematics (Optional)
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven team player
• Eager to continue training to advance into a Mechanic role
• Candidates with mechanical, electrical, or engineering experience are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Maintain bowling equipment and building systems for peak performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to repairs promptly.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety procedures.
• Participate in the official Lucky Strike Assistant Mechanic training program.
• Report issues to leadership and assist with center maintenance.
• Identify common equipment issues and apply fixes.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance.
• Operate all bowling equipment in the center.

WHAT OUR ASSISTANT MECHANICS DO

Our Assistant Mechanics are essential to maintaining the top performance of our lanes, pinspotters/pinsetters, and building equipment. They skillfully conduct preventative maintenance and respond promptly to any necessary repairs.

AN ASSISTANT MECHANIC’S DAY-TO-DAY:

• Always prioritize safety by following the guidelines set by Lucky Strike Entertainment and OSHA.
• Take pride in maintaining the equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Adhere to all outlined preventative maintenance programs and monitor and perform daily center maintenance as instructed
• Embrace the opportunity to complete the Lucky Strike Entertainment Assistant Mechanic training program within the prescribed time frame.
• Providing valuable assistance to the leadership teams and promptly reporting any issues and problems as needed.
• Proficient in accurately identifying and resolving the most common issues with equipment.
• Minor preventative maintenance
• Fully understand how to operate all bowling equipment in the center

WHAT IT TAKES
