Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment is hiring an Assistant Mechanic to maintain bowling lanes and center equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs, ensuring top performance of pinspotters, pinsetters, and building systems.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and rigorous training to advance into a Machanic role. The position is part-time with evening and night shifts, at a single location in the Ann Arbor area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lanes, pinspotters/pinsetters, and building equipment to ensure top performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to repairs.
• Follow OSHA and Lucky Strike guidelines for safety.
• Participate in the Assistant Mechanic training program within the specified time frame.
• Provide timely reports and assist leadership as needed.
• Identify and resolve common equipment issues.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance and operate all bowling equipment.

WHAT OUR ASSISTANT MECHANICS DO

Our Assistant Mechanics are essential to maintaining the top performance of our lanes, pinspotters/pinsetters, and building equipment. They skillfully conduct preventative maintenance and respond promptly to any necessary repairs.

AN ASSISTANT MECHANIC’S DAY-TO-DAY:

• Always prioritize safety by following the guidelines set by Lucky Strike Entertainment and OSHA.
• Take pride in maintaining the equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Adhere to all outlined preventative maintenance programs and monitor and perform daily center maintenance as instructed
• Embrace the opportunity to complete the Lucky Strike Entertainment Assistant Mechanic training program within the prescribed time frame.
• Providing valuable assistance to the leadership teams and promptly reporting any issues and problems as needed.
• Proficient in accurately identifying and resolving the most common issues with equipment.
• Minor preventative maintenance
• Fully understand how to operate all bowling equipment in the center

WHAT IT TAKES

• High School Diploma with a strong emphasis on algebra, geometry, and applied mathematics (Optional)
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven team player
• Eager to continue training to advance into a Mechanic role.
