Job summary

Northeast Grocery in Cobleskill, NY is seeking a Meat Department Associate to support daily operations in the absence of the meat manager and to deliver fast, friendly service to Price Chopper customers. You will cut meat per specs, ensure quality and freshness, and uphold sanitation guidelines while providing excellent customer service both inside the store and to external customers.

Cuts all meat in accordance with trim "specs" and guidelines and ensures the quality and freshness of product in the meat case to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Responsible for providing excellent customer service (both internally and externally) and courtesy on an on-going basis. Must adhere to all sanitation guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age.Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.Ability to pass a cutting test.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Satisfactory performance reviews. Basic computer skills. Strong communication skills. High School Degree or equivalent. 6-12 months of related experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Exposure to Cold Environment Constant 5-8 Hours
